QUESTION:  I bought a pair of these at a local store for an 04 R1, the right brake lever does not have the adjustment pin hole where the pin is mounted and actuates the front cylinder, wrong year? or were they mismarked for an r6 ANSWER:  The 2004 R1 uses a radial mount brake .The correct set would also be a radial mount style brake lever.If the instuctions are not missing follwo the steps. You need to disassemble your stock lever using an Arbor press. Remove the brake perch mount from the stock lever and insert it into the new lever.Re-insert the pin you removed from the stock set-up with the Arbor press and you are ready to install on your bike. We do not reuse the stock adjuster.These levers are machined in the mid setting. QUESTION:  Can they be made a little shorter. Or are they the same length as stock?
