| Woodcraft GSXR 1000 (01-04) Clip-ons |
These are the only clip-ons that fit the big Suzuki properly. Just below the triple clamp the forks taper down to 49mm, making it impossible for conventional 1 piece clip-ons to properly grab the tube. Woodcraft's exclusive 2 piece design gets the job done with confidence!

| Woodcraft 2 piece split clipons are specially designed to make installation and removal a snap. Our 2 piece design is race proven and makes it easy to service your clipons below the triple clamp without having do dis-assemble the entire front end. Special attention has also been taken to save weight wherever possible. The bars are 12†long and are easily adjusted to whatever custom width you desire.
Note: 2003-2004 Models do not allow full lock steering to the right with stock steering stops due to the throttle cables contacting the ram air tube. Racers need to either 1) build up the steering stops, 2) rotate your throttle tube couterclockwise or 3) adapt 2004 GSXR 600/750 top exit throttle housing. Please call with any questions.

| ANSWER: If you go to the Woodcraft website and go to the clipon riser section, click on any riser and you will find a link in there showing you exactly how to evaluate your bike for clipon risers. Or, you can cut and paste this link.
This should give you a bunch of information to start with,

| QUESTION: The harley bars you offer at extra $30, do they have dimples for the passing of cables |
| ANSWER: The Harley bars do not have any dimples. It is up to the customer to make any necessary modifications to mount the controls. |
|
| QUESTION: I have a 2006 Harley-Davids Dyna with 49mm frnt forks. Do you offer a set of clip on's? And if so how much? |
| ANSWER: It is a special setup for sure. We have special bars that work with the Harley's that add $30 to the kit. To get 49mm we either need to open up a set of 48's ($40) or we need to make some custom shells for a larger set (like 53's), which costs $75. |
|
| QUESTION: I have HD V-rod ,with 49mm fork, are this clipons ok on this fork?
THx
Dick
Sweden |
| ANSWER: I would not go that route. You would need to have a special set of shells made to go inside a set of 53mm clipons. We can do that for an additional $75. You also would need special Harley Bars, we we make for an additional $30/set.
So, it is a bit expensive, but we can get it done (and have done a set or two for the V-rod). |

| QUESTION: I have a 2003 gsxr 1000 and really interested in fitting the woodcraft clipons. It says "special 49/50 by the side" of mine can you tell me a little more about that it has the standard manufacturer's fork tubes on many? Thanks! Lee |
| ANSWER: The tubes have a taper, so you have to make a stepped clipon to make it actually fit the fork tube properly. Please be aware that these are not for street bikes on the 03-04 GSXR1000, as there are some significant clearance issues on the right side. Racers usually use a different throttle asembly (off of a 2005 GSXR600/750). |
|
| QUESTION: hello i was wondering if these would fit o my 2006 gsxr 600 and if so is there and thing else that i will need in order to make them work and usually how long does it take for these to ship |
| ANSWER: No, the 06 GSXR600 has a larger step and requires the 12-0350 clipons. They ship generally within 1 business day. |
|
| QUESTION: 1.) Are the brackets for these bars tapered to fit a 50mm to 49mm transition, or are they made to fit a 49mm fork?
2.) Upon ordering these bars, I would like to be able to temporarily pre-fit them to the bike to determine if in fact they will work. If they do not fit properly for any reason, I would like to return them without additional charges incurred. I will of course pay for shipping back to you, and I will not mar or damage the bars or components in any way. Can you do this?
Thanks,
Jim |
| ANSWER: These are specially made clipons to fit the GSXR1000. However, it is important to note that these are designed for racing. For 2001-2002 GSXR1000's, they work perfectly with no problems. For the 2003-2004 models, they are really for racing only.....there are some slight clearance issues with the throttle cables at full lock right turning that racers have no problem getting around with an easy modification, but we do not recommend them for the street. 2005 models use straight 50mm clipons. |
