| QUESTION: what size clip ons and triple clamp do i need on stock 2001 ducati monter 600 |
| ANSWER: 50mm. If you have fitment questions, go to the Woodcraft website and click on the riser fitment guide - it will answer all of your questions. You can then come back here to purchase whatever you need. |
|
| QUESTION: I bought a set of 06 750 gsxr forks off ebay. i have my old 97 600 gsxr clip ons still. will they transfer over? if not what size do i need? |
| ANSWER: They will not work. Your 97 600 has 45mm forks on it and the newer models are 50mm. If you are running the bike at the stock ride height (of the 06) then you will need the stepped 50/48mm clamps. If you are raising the front you will need straight 50mm clamps. |
|
| QUESTION: I have an 06' 750. I know its the 48/50 I need to go with, my question is i'm trying to find the clip on with a 2" riser. Do you guys have this? I would prefer woodcraft, but if its not available, I will take what I can.
|
| ANSWER: The 2 inch riser may be a tight fit on the 06 GSXR750. You should go to this link to get all the information:
https://www.woodcraft-cfm.com/Assets/Products/Instructions/Clipon%20Risers.pdf
The GSXR's only have 25mm's worth of 50mm tube before it tapers down to 48mm. Our clipons need a bare minimum of 30mm. The simple solution to this is to push the forks down in the clamps by 5mm (raising the front end). This gives the bike more trail, which is what most racers do on this bike anyway (many aftermarket companies actually make parts to that the front can be raised up 10-15mm on this model). Once this is done, standard 50mm risers work perfectly. YOu just need to determine how much rise the bike can utilize. |

QUESTION: I am trying to put a set of clip on handle bars on a Harley Davidson that has 49mm fork tubes
Question:
will these fit on a 49mm for tube?
Answer:
These will not work on a 49mm fork. What bike are you trying to mount them on? |
| ANSWER: You can puchase a set of 48mm and have them milled out to 49mm for an additional $40 from Woodcraft. 1" Harley bars are also available for an additional $30. |
|
| QUESTION: will these fit on a 49mm for tube? |
| ANSWER: These will not work on a 49mm fork. What bike are you trying to mount them on? |
|
| QUESTION: Hello I am lowering my 07 gsxr 750 3" in the rear and want to match in the front, but the fork tube will only allow about a 2.5" drop with the triple clamp which leaves the clipons not able to clamp down. What is the diameter of the fork tube at this point and what clipons do I need to order? Thanks Playboy-Johnny. |
| ANSWER: They are 48.1mm down there. You can get away with a 48mm clipon - you'll have to gently tap it on, but that will work.... 0.1mm is a very small amount. |
|
| QUESTION: What is the internal diameter of the handle bar tubes? Would want to fit bar end mirrors etc.. |
| ANSWER: .625 inches |
|

| ANSWER: Yes, the forks on that bike are 50mm |
|
| QUESTION: I noticed that the clip on chart suggests that 2006 Truimph Speed Triple uses 50mm clip ons,...but I just measured mine with a caliper and the Outer Diameter of the Fork Tube is almost exactly 52mm. I assume that the diameter that the chart is referring to is the OD of the fork or the gripping ID of the clamp...correct? If so, I think that your chart is incorrect...
I have seen other sites that suggest 53mm is the right size for my bike...I would assume that I should use 52mm bars on 52mm forks, or is it typical to go one size larger??
Also, do all Woodcraft Clip-ons have two piece clamps for easy installation?
Thank You for your time...
Marty |
| ANSWER: 52mm is correct - the application chart for the Speed Triple is not correct. All Woodcraft clamps are 2 piece. |

I broke my right side, are they available individualy? tx |
| ANSWER: Our clipons are designed primarily for road racing. The 05 GSXR1000 takes straight 50mm clipons. Our product is a 7 degree angle, the clamps are 1-1/2" high/wide the bars are 1' long. They are sold as a set only, although replacement bars can be purchased separately. I'm not sure how the stock/street bodywork is but I don't think there are interference issues on this bike. You should take this information and see if they will work for you. |

| QUESTION: if send to singapore how much ?
for suzuki gsx-r 1000 K3 .
thanks best regards |
| ANSWER: It costs $53.00 to ship a 2 lb. package to Singapore. We need to know what year the Suzuki GSXR1000 (K3) and if the bike is used for racing or street riding. Our 2 piece clipons #12-0250 are specifically designed to fit the tapered GSXR1000 fork; however we've been informed 2003-04 stock bodywork (street riding) has some interference in a full lock turn. Road racers have different bodywork and do not mind making minor modifications to fit.
