| QUESTION: I have a SV650 rear shock installed on my 2005 GS500F which raises my bike about roughly 2 inches and i took a rough estimate of the space between the fork and the clamps and got about 50 to 63.5 millimetres of space. Will that be enough to install the clip ons. And do you guys ship to Canada?
Thanks,
Arin |
| ANSWER: I am sure that 1 tail ships to Canada, yes. I'm not sure what exact distance you are measuring, but I know that several racers have put our bars on GS500's. |
|
| QUESTION: What the options available for bar ends for this particular model? |
| ANSWER: They are all the same - they are solid delrin bar ends that are pressed in. The bar had a 5/8" ID, so there are several aftermarket bar and that can work with them. |
|
| QUESTION: Do the bars come with the pair of clip ons or is the price just for the clip ons themselves? Just making sure I don't need to purchase the bars as well. |
| ANSWER: They come complete with bars |
|
| QUESTION: I want to know what the thickness or height of the clip-ons that clip on the fork, because i want to know how low will the fork be if i put the clip-on on the top of triple clamp. |
| ANSWER: They are about 37mm thick (just coincidence that you were asking about 37mm clipons). You need at least 35mm of fork tube above the clamp. |
|
| QUESTION: do these clip-ons have a down angle? and if so, what degree? will they fit a suzuki gs500f 2004? |
| ANSWER: 7 degrees. They will fit the forks - you will have to confirm the actual fitment / clearance by looking closely at your bike. |
|
| QUESTION: are these bars illiegal in any states for street riding |
| ANSWER: I am not aware of any handlebar that is illegal anywhere. You need to look at your motorcycle (whatever it is) and be sure that they will fit properly - but there are no rules I am aware of regarding bar position. |
