ANSWER:  Suzuki has changed their pegs...... The 2GPS4- and the 1GPS1- are basically the same peg. Difference being the pin size. The newer GSXR's have a smaller pin than the older ones. ANSWER:  Good question.... they're made from billet alum. So they are very strong, however they were designed to lighten the bike. Hence, a lot of the material was removed. All I can say is the are AS strong as stock.
