| ANSWER: Its sounds like the paddle underneath the clutch lever was bent inwards some how.Look at the paddle and make sure it is engaging and dis-engaging the start kill switch . All you need to do is bend the paddle so it points straight down from the bottom of the lever.You should hear a click once it is working properly. Another cause is the switch is not riding on the paddle. Sometimes during installation the pin switch gets jammed between the paddle and the lever perch.Let me know how it turns out. This is almost always the case. |

| ANSWER: Cross refrence your lever part #'s with a newer bike. Try a 2001-2003 GSXR 1000/750/600. We never made a set for your bike . A lot of the newer levers will work on older bikes. |

the reason i ask is, i put a set of 2003 panels on mine, and they fit perfectly.
