    When is the Hub & Rotor Shield used?
    During racing when the brakes are extremely hot and you need to service the vehicle fast but do not have time to allow things to cool. Perfect for SCCA racing, circle track, and drag strip pit crews. You simply place the Hub & Rotor Shield over the disc brake and caliper when the tire is removed to protect you from extreme temperatures.

    What is the Hub & Rotor Shield's temperature rating?
    It is capable of handling over 500 degrees of direct continuous heat and 2,000 degrees of radiant heat.

    Why is the Hub & Rotor Shield essential to any pit crew?
    It will protect the mechanics working on the vehicle while at operating temperatures. It is not recommended to have the vehicle running while working on any car. It will also protect the working mechanics from dirt, dust and other airborne particles.
