The Q&A on this Product
QUESTION:  The bike has 3 wires and the signals have two... my rear signals are NOT stock!!! how can i conect these wires???
ANSWER:  The flush mount signals are only turn signals no running light wire. On your bike only hook up the following. For left side our black wire to the solid green and the red wire to the orange and for the right side hook up our black wire to green and our red wire to light blue.
QUESTION:  I have a 2005 cbr 600rr and I have installed the flush mount blinkers . I know for sure that I have everything connected right. My turning signals now blink a little bit faster now than before. Is this normal? I also have the resistors laying on the inside , side part of my fairings. They are completly touching my fairings. I read that the resistors get real hot. Will they melt or worp the plastic on my fairings ? Thank you
ANSWER:  Once you install LED lights they will flash faster then OEM, but if you want to slow down the blinker rate you just need to buy a 8ohm 20watt resistor from radio shack or local hardware store. As for the relay getting hot it shouldn't melt your bodywork as that would require some really bad heat but if you like put some electrical tape on the resistors to protect it.
QUESTION:  i have a 2008 cbr 600 rr i put on my flushmount and the blinker signal works but when the blinkers are off all of the lights dont stay lit like they should.what is wrong?????
ANSWER:  Sounds like you are asking why the running light doesn’t stay on. Reason is these flush mounts do not have a running light wire therefor it is only a signal.
QUESTION:  i have an 03 cbr 600rr installed flush mount lights on the front and intergrated tail light on rear. installed 2 20w 8ohm on front signals and it flashes so fast u can barly see it flashing. dont have running light wired fuse is not blown do i need a flash rate controller and can i get it at radio shack?
ANSWER:  All you need is a resistor and apply it on the front blinkers one for each side. You can find them at radio shack - 8ohm 20 watt resistor.
QUESTION:  i have an 09 cbr600rr abs. have the same flush mounts, when i wired them together i did not use the running lights wire but still blew out my fuse for my tail light tho. is there a rreason for this? how do you install these lights?
ANSWER:  As long as you didn’t wire up the running light wire it should be good. Only thing I can think of is check the back of the signals to make sure no wires are exposed.
QUESTION:  I have a 2005 cbr 600rr. With flsuh mount and integrated tailight. My blinkers work some times and some times they dont. we have two 20wt 8ohm resistors. where do we put them, and is there anything else we should do to fix this?
ANSWER:  Just install the resistors on the front blinkers and that will fix your problem.
QUESTION:  I have a 2003 Honda CBR f4i and I installed the front signals and they now blink really fast. How do I hook up the relay swithc to slow them down, does it connect to both wires that are hooked up, and one switch on each side?
ANSWER:  You actually need a resistor kit. You can buy them at radio shack 8ohm 20 watt resistor will work.
QUESTION:  I have an 06 cbr 600 rr and I'm putting on led flush mounts.Where do I have to install the flash relay? Some folks say you can plug and play by removing the stock relay and another suggession is to put it onto the harness on the front left side of the bike.Let me know which is the better option so I dont run into any problems
ANSWER:  You have to use resistors as the 600RR doesn’t have a relay.
QUESTION:   i have a 05 600rr and have integrated tail lights with resistors. i have bought new led blinkers and installed them but, they wont come on. Have any ideas?
ANSWER:  You will need to put resistors on the front turn signals.
QUESTION:  I bought a resister for my 2001 honda cbr f4i 600 but have no idea where it goes or how to wire it if needed? and one more ? i also bought a flash relay but dont know where it goes?
ANSWER:  You don’t need the flasher relay. The resistors will go on the front turn signals one on each side.
QUESTION:  where do i put the resister?
ANSWER:  In between the signal wire and the OEM wires.
QUESTION:  i have the front blickers as well, they have a yellow and black wire. the bike has three wires, including one that is 2 colors, which wires do i hook up to the blinker wires? 2003 cbr 600 rr
ANSWER:  Not sure what front blinkers you have. Our blinkers are only red & black wires.
QUESTION:  Hey, I have a CBR600RR 09 On my OEM there are three wires, (Orange w/ white line), (Orange), and (Green) Which is which? And how to I get it as a running light?
ANSWER:  These turn signals have no running light wire. On the back of the insert card there is a wire diagram that explain’s which wire is which.
QUESTION:  I have A 03 cbr 600rr, how do I wire the resistor? I have a black wire, and a black wire with a white stripe?
ANSWER:  Below is a link that shows how to wire it http://www.customled.com/Custom%20LED%20Load%20Equalizer%20Stage%20I.pdf
QUESTION:  I have a 06 CBR RR the three stock wires are green orange and orange with white stripe is the orange with white the running power wire?
ANSWER:  Yes the wire with the white stripe is the running light wire. Left is orange w/ white and right side is blue with white stripe.
QUESTION:  i have a 07 cbr600rr an the flush mount trunsignal i got have two wires how do u connect it. plez
ANSWER:  When you hook up these signals to your stock wires make sure you do NOT hook up the running light wire. The running light wire will have a white stripe on it if you hook it up you will blow a fuse
QUESTION:  i have an 03 cbr 600rr. with flash mount turn signals in the front and an intergrated signal/brake light. when i turn on either left or right turn signal the front one comes on and stays solid, but the rear does nothing. also when i hit the front brake the rear brake light comes on, but not when i hit the rear brake. also the buttons for the trip o-meter, clock, and or other in the bash, do not work. might this be one big wireing problem? or bunch of little ones? some say grounding wires. i have no idea. other than that bike runs great!! thank you for your help.
ANSWER:  You will need to get some resistors. You can find some at Radio Shack. What you need is a 8ohm 20watt resistor and just put them on the front blinkers 1 resistor per side and that will fix both from & rear blinker problem.
QUESTION:  i have an 01 cbr 600 f4i the stock blinker comes with three wires an orange, orange with a stripe and a green. these only come with two wires which do i hook up with what?
ANSWER:  The turn signals have a wire diagram on the back of the product insert. Do not hook up the wire that has the stripe on it because that is the running light wire just tap it off as it doesn’t get used.
QUESTION:  I have a 2009 cbr 600rr will the flush mount signal fit it. If not do now somebody that makes it for this year.
ANSWER:  Yes the older Honda signals will work on the 09 600RR
QUESTION:  will these flush mount signals fit a 09 cbr 600rr
ANSWER:  Yes they will fit that bike.
QUESTION:  I just installed the flush mount and they just stay on. I have rear leds also. The running light is not connected. If i need resistors, where do I install them?
ANSWER:  You will need to add a resistor on the front since you have aftermarket rear LEDs. You can find some at Radio Shack. You need 8 ohm 20 watt resistor.
QUESTION:  I have a 06 F4i i installed the the flush mount turn signals in front but the rear turn signal lights which are stock stay lit up is it a wiring issue
ANSWER:  I would double check your wiring on the front turn signals. Make sure you did not connect the running light wire on the front.
QUESTION:  i have a 02 cbr f4i i installed these flush mounts and i also have a integrated tail lights.. when i use my blinker whether it is the right or left both signals on the dash light up and no signals in the rear but when i hit the brakes the signals flash in the front and rear ... what could i do to fix the problem..
ANSWER:  Double check your wiring. Also make sure that you do not connect the orange & blue wire that have a white stripe on it. That is the running light wire. Also you might want to get a resistor other wise your blinkers will flash really fast. All you need Is a 8ohm 20 watt resistor.
QUESTION:  I read some where that for the newer cbr600's a flash rate controller won't be necessary. Is this true?
ANSWER:  The flash rate for the old thermal flasher technology varies so much (+ or - 50%) that it is impossible to answer this question for every bike, even the same model and year. We recommend you get a kit, install it, and evaluate. You will esily be able to tell whether it needs a flash rate controller. It will either flash too fast or not at all if it needs the impedance modification.
QUESTION:  I have bought the H0708600RRSS fender eliminator and the H04RR-SIG-SMK flush mount turn signals, Do I need any more parts to make all of this work correctly? If so what part #'s?
ANSWER:  You might need some resistors for the blinkers.
QUESTION:  If i have already installed an integrated tail light with resistors to slow down the flash rate, will i still need to have resistors for the front?
ANSWER:  If you want you can put the resistors from the tail light on the front turn signals and it should correct both. But you can not just have them on the rear other wise it will not slow them down.
QUESTION:  are these light sold as a pair or seperatly
ANSWER:  These are sold as a pair.
QUESTION:  WILL THE WORK ON MY 2007 CBR 600RR
ANSWER:  Yes, these will work on your 07 CBR.
QUESTION:  do these plug in or do you have to splice them???? i purchased the lockhart phillips flush mounts and spliced them and the do not work.
ANSWER:  these signals you do have to splice into the wire harness but it comes with quick splice connectors which makes it real easy.
QUESTION:  do you send instructions with the purchase??
ANSWER:  there are instructions on the back side of the signal packaging.
QUESTION:  What do I need in way of flash rate controllers or other misc. parts considering I do want them to blink the proper speed, and is this a good set up. Time to get rid of the orange things on the side of my bike the size of the moon! Two more ?s Will the rear blinkers work if I ever got a fender delete kit and the final question How Muchhhh?
ANSWER:  You will need a flasher relay to slow down your blinker to normal speed.
QUESTION:  I have a 2006 CBR 600 F4i, will I need to buy any extra parts to assure that these work correctly(like resistors)or do I need to wait to find out
ANSWER:  The resistor slows down the blinker rate. If you are okay with the blinker flashing fast, then you don't need anything else. If you have changed your rear turn signals then you will need a resistor.
QUESTION:  I installed these Flush Mount Signals in my 06 cbr600rr and and every time I turn one the sigal the stay on instead of blinking. What do I need to do to have them working?
ANSWER:  sounds like you need a resistor.
QUESTION:  I bought these from you. The bike has 3 wires and the signals have two. what do I do?
ANSWER:  These signals are only turn signals. On your stock wires you will have a blue wire with a white stripe and a orange with a white stripe. Do not hook those up. Those are you running light wires.
QUESTION:  I want to get the flush mount LED turn signals on the front and an undertail kit w/LED's in the back. And do it all at the same time. Will I only need 2 flash rate controllers to go with it to make everything work and opperate correctly?
ANSWER:  Flash Rate controllers are basically parallel resistors to restore the impedance of the circuit (LEDs draw far less current). I would buy one Flash rate controller, then add a second if the flash rate is still too fast. Each additional controller will slow the flash rate further.
QUESTION:  I bought these same ones from another site and whe I installed them they binked so fast that they did even work. Do you sell a resister with them?
ANSWER:  Yes, we have a signal speed controller - search for part RU35955 in the keyword search field.
