| QUESTION: I have a 2006 cbr 600rr, i have flush mount turn signals and i have a LED tail light. Turn signals flash when they want, other times it stays solid. do i need resistors in the front turn signs and the rear as well?? Resistors go on the positive side correct? |
| ANSWER: Yes you will need resistors since both front and rear signals are LED. You can find some at a Radio shack or local hardware store. We use 8ohm 20 watt resistors.
|
|
| QUESTION: i installed flush mount turn signals on my cbr600rr 08 they work teir on for running lights and the blink for the turn but on the dash panel for light that show which signal is on thay both stay on but when i turn a signal on it blinks as normal other than that their working fine any ideal why the blinker indacator stay on |
| ANSWER: Disconnect the running light wire these are just turn signals not running lights. If you don’t you will blow a fuse. |
|
| QUESTION: I have a 03 CBR 600 RR, I am trying to install flush mounts but, there are two orange wires on the turn single what do i do with the orange with white stripe. I believe this is the constant run wire and do I need any resistors. Thank you |
| ANSWER: That wire is the running light wire which you do not need to hook up. You do not need resistors unless you want your blinkers to flash slow otherwise they will flash faster. |
|
| QUESTION: I installed the flashers on my 06 rr with 20w resistors and they still do not blink. Wires are correctly hooked up as one side worked when the stock blinker was still on the other side. Any advice? |
| ANSWER: I would double check your connections and just make sure you applied the resistors on the front blinkers. |
|
| QUESTION: I have a 2005 cbr 600rr.I am trying to hook up my new flush mount turning signals but I have no idea on the left and right side , which ones are my ground , hot and constant running . Can u give me the purpose of each color wire . And how do I tie in the resistors . thank you |
| ANSWER: On the signals the black wire is the ground and red is hot. On your bike the ground is the green wire for the left side the orange is the hot and for the right side the light blue is the hot wire. For the resistor you will just input it in between the ground wire and our signal. |
|
| QUESTION: I have a 04 cbr600 rr i hooked up the flush mount but now the dash wont come on or my tail light what does this mean? did i blow a fuse? |
| ANSWER: Sounds like you burned a fuse - when installing these signals make sure you do not connect the running light wire. |
|

| QUESTION: I have an 06 CBR 600 RR. What do you do with the 3rd wire. DO you just let it chill. or do you need to do something with it. Im just lost. I just bought both flush mount turn signals and integrated tail light. The tail light came with resistors and im using both of them. So do i need a total of 4 resistors 2 for the back and 2 for the front???? Where do i tuck the resistors cause its really tight up in the front. |
| ANSWER: Just tape off the 3rd wire. If you have a after market tail light that came with resistors, you can actually use those for the front blinkers and it will actually fix both the front and rear blinkers so they still blink. |
|
| QUESTION: hooked up front and back still work and front don't maybe i have the wrong wires hooked up? |
| ANSWER: Double check your wires again. If that still doesn’t work, you might need resistors for the front turn signals. |

I just took the front off to put the flush mount front turn signals in and the problem is, the old turn signals have 3 wires, the new ones have 2. And they at first just stayed on they wouldn't flash just stay solid, so i got a resister and tried it on one side and it doesn't do anything now. What am I doing wrong? Which wires does the resister go between? And do I need to install both resistors for them to work? |
| ANSWER: You need resistors put on the front signals. When you change both front and rear signals to LED’s the bike thinks that you have blown out light. You can get some 20watt 8 ohm resistors and that should fix the problem. You do need both.

-which wire do they go to-there are 2 orange wires and 2 blue wires-the right side has a solid blue with the green and blue with a white stripe & the other side has a solid orange with the green and a orange with a white stripe-
?which is the flasher-with or without the stripe?
ALSO---
I plan on installing a flush mount tail light on the '05--
?should I put in resistors now while the front is off? If so
? what rated resistors?
? which wires do they go between-the red/orange or red/blue--or between the black/green?
? will I have to put these resistors(in the same places on both sides for the integrated taillight as well?
Thank you for your help
|
| ANSWER: The blue and orange that have the white stripe, do not hook that up. That is the running light wire. The best solution to restore the slash rate is a flash rate controller. Please purchase one from our site. You will find that calculating the correct size and locating the right product is much more difficult than buying a controller from us. It is "just resistors" but they are large and expensive and difficult to mount - our kit is much better. |
