Cool-Tube is designed to protect wiring, fuel lines, brake lines and other areas from extreme heat (up to 500 degrees F). Manufactured from convoluted NYLON 6 tubing (NO PLASTIC) and covered with an aluminized fiberglass fabric, Cool-Tube combines flexibility with maximum thermal protection. The aluminized covering provides heat reflectivity reducing temperatures an average of 43 percent and resists abrasion, chemicals and condensation. Slit lengthwise for ease of installation, Cool-Tube eliminates the necessity of disconnecting wires or lines.

    Cool-Tube™ is made of convoluted nylon tubing covered with aluminum fiberglass that has the capabilities of reducing temperatures by 43%. The nylon tubing use Cool-Tube™ is not a generic unknown quality nylon, it is grade 6 nylon.

    How much heat will the Cool-Tube™ withstand?
    Cool-Tube™ can withstand up to 500 degrees of radiant heat.

    Do I have to take my line apart to put this on?
    No. The Cool-Tube™ is already slit lengthwise for ease of installation.
