| Can't find a matching part number? Find the piston size of your unit. Front Master Cylinders - check the top or bottom of the lever clevis for a stamped alphanumeric string. The last two digits in the string indicate the piston size in mm (EXAMPLE: ‘1PJK 15' = 15mm piston. In the case of ‘Radial-GP' pumps, you may see a ‘PR' or ‘/'' stamping, followed by a number. If the number is “19x18†or “16x18â€Â, the first number is piston size, the second refers to the pivot centers of the unit's lever). Rear Master Cylinders - for lever-types, check clevis area as above. If rod-actuated, check the entire body for the alphanumeric string or a string starting with ‘PS' (EXAMPLE: ‘PS12' = 12mm piston). |

| QUESTION: I need a rear mster cylinder for a late 83 BMW R80 RT. It is now an EML-sidecar bike with a different m/c.
I cannot find any wording or numbers anywhere on the old defective unit. It is fitted with a brass "splitter" to serve s/c wheel.(not part of the master cylinder)
Unlike the ones I see on your site this one doesent bolt to the bike with tabs on the m/c but has two small towers that are threaded to do the same. It puts the m/c in a different rotation on the bike.
Hope you can help.
Thanks.
